The invitation

My dear curious friend,

Something rather peculiar has been happening on the Island.

An old postbox at the end of a lane, one nobody has used in years,  has begun receiving letters.

Even stranger, they already have people’s names written upon them.

Miss Beatrice Pennyfeather, whose family hails from the Osborne House postmasters, has taken it upon herself to investigate.

This may prove to be a terrible idea.

Naturally, she would like you to come along.

The Pennyfeathers have quietly tended the island's unusual correspondence since Queen Victoria lived at Osborne House. Beatrice inherited a family ledger, several keys with no known doors and responsibility for the island's undelivered and occasionally impossible post.

The story is only just beginning

What exactly is inside?

Well. That rather depends on the month.

Every curious correspondence contains a new chapter from our very curious story, accompanied by the tiniest of objects and the most secretive of notes, which Beatrice appears to be very much keeping to herself.

Though I do have it on good authority that whilst the story may indeed be curious, if you have an equally curious mind, then you will be delighted by our monthly correspondence.

Though do be careful, we wouldn’t want you to spill your tea when something unexpected slips out of the envelope. 🐭💌

Have you forgotten? The Story is just beginning ..

For the curious ones.

For those of us who still peer through tiny doors and believe in the magic of fairies.

For those of us who secretly know there is magic beyond what our eyes can see.

For those of us who are remembering to dream again.

For the children who haven't yet forgotten that the trees whisper in the wind, magic postboxes hold curious correspondence and and tiny mice keep the most extraordinary secrets.

And for the grown up's who may have forgotten, but would rather like to remember ...
